Hello, I am Marcel Plodzien, pround founder of Minnesota House runing since 2001.
Having 25 years of recovery experience, I have created a home away from home as a wellness centre retreat located in the Garden Route for psychiatric trauma disorders as well as addiction.
I initially trained as a chemical dependency counsellor, am registered with the FDAP (the Federation of Drug & Alcohol Professionals-UK), and am also a Registered Social Worker. My areas of professional interest focus on adult-child work, codependency, behaviour modification, dual diagnosis, relapses, self-development and therapeutic group dynamics. I am hands-on as Head of Treatment and directly involved in Recovery Lectures and Group Therapy at Minnesota House.
