The longer the patient stays in treatment the more success they can expect

Almost half of the patients that were admitted over a 12-month period, completed 42 days of inpatient treatment.

Patients that opted for 4 weeks or less was based on financial constraints or medical aid limitation. Individuals progress through drug addiction treatment at various rates, so there is no pre-determined length of treatment. However, research has shown unequivocally that good outcomes are contingent on adequate treatment length.

Generally, for inpatient or outpatient treatment, participation for less than 90 days is of limited effectiveness, and treatment lasting significantly longer is recommended for maintaining positive outcomes.

Due to programme changes and standards for treatment success we have matched our programme duration to maximise the time we have for each patient. We no longer work with a 4-week treatment programme.

The longer the patient stays in treatment the more success they can expect. Longer programmes allow for further intense individual work with the patient.

Inpatient means that the patient will live on the premises for the time periods applicable to our programs. We offer:

Relapse program

28 Day program

6 Week program

3 Month program
(Phase I of Recovery)

6 Month program
(Phase II of Recovery)

9-12 Month program
(Phase III of Recovery)

Many people go through life without clear direction or without goals, where people are made to evolve. Some people go through rehabilitation or treatment without actually having a plan for their life once they’re clean and sober. We each have our own passions and talents so a life coach helps you navigate through those, helping patients live a full and meaningful life.

A life coach may be needed to assist with the small decisions or issues that someone maybe find to be an obstacle or for someone who may feel “stuck” in life. Let’s help you get un-stuck and living a life of purpose.
